Research In Motion (RIM), a global leader in wireless innovation, revolutionised the mobile industry with the introduction of the BlackBerry® solution in 1999. BlackBerry products and services are used by millions of customers around the world.
Situation
Research In Motion Ltd wanted to encourage and motivate sales teams within Ireland and Denmark to achieve targets more often and to promote Blackberry products through third party networks. A key requirement was the need for a single centralised rewards platform and solution which could be used for both countries, as well as awarding in local currencies (Euros and Danish Kroner) The solution also needed to be future proof and fully scalable for the addition of new countries and regions as the scheme expanded.
Ovation Incentives Solution
The Ovation Incentives team put together a fully branded on-line SALES INCENTIVES rewards portal. Utilising this rewards portal and a communications tool for the Blackberry brand, sales teams were incentivised to achieve a target targets more often via integrated marketing and sales campaigns.
Once the participants achieved their target they were awarded with a Universal Voucher (UV) reward code in their local currency. These reward codes were redeemed against a mix of vouchers, from the extensive range of locally sourced gift voucher options. Recipients were also given the option to redeem rewards from other countries.
